OPEN LETTER'S for KPI (Komisi Perfilman Indonesia)

In Honor, Lembaga KPI

this day, almost every television audience are served to adult. while television content that served for kids is only a few. other than that, most of the time television served infotainment news. in fact, you can say that our television show is dominated by infotainment. and its veri dissapointing that problems like divorce, violent, family problem and even deep love story that can affect child by seeing it is served in television show.

if we compare netween past and present television, there's so much different. TV shw like sinetron or infotainment only show often 1 week once. and its only live for 1 hour only in 1 week. because of that,past sinetron was really a heavy story to watch. because the time to make and the effort to correct the mistakes is more efficient. past sinetron not only tell about romance story, but other useful things like effort, life lesson and fictional comedy and fictional science . the fictional stories that we used to have is really amazing and really worth our time to watch. beside the story that fictional and have a romace story, whats different form present show is that their really have a moral value in the movie and we can take it as a real life lesson.

in the other side, nowadays sinetron is shown every day. making the story of the film is less quality and less the effort and have no time to correct their mistakes. because it have to be live every day, the director have to work 10 times really hard that opens many mistakes.

beside, many television show that served not for kids. nwoadays its really rare to found something like that. if we see trough it affect the way kids act and their daily languange. Movies from outside indonesia country like hollywood, HBO, FOX MOVIES and other too can be a bad effect to kids. for example, it can increase the aggressiveness of a child. this is beacuse the bad word, rude bahvior, cocky things and blood thath display in the movie can effect aggressiveness of a child. not all cartoon is good for kids. beside, sex content is really bad for citizen behaviour. especially for kids and teenager that have a really big curiosity in it.

this is indeed a pretty sad thing because we often see parents is really proud of their son for mimicing the voice and copying a certain scene in a film or even worse, mimicing a dangdut dance and often we see them record it and share it to the public.

many consumtion of that film makes us things that those are good things do that it doesnt matter if we watch it. this become a proof that indoensian television show is at their peak for advertisement and money.

based on what we write above, we'd like to give some of our solution to the public. we'd like to ask the goverment to give more attention to the television show in indonesia.goverment need to help concern and about television show in indonesia. we suggest to show more informative and educational show in indonesian television show. we also suggest to give a kids a worth watching age restricted show so that kids cannot affect by the show that was purposely aimed to teenager and adults. for example quizzes show that can increase our knowledge and education things also attractive to watch. this makes people that watch can take something from the movie and take a life lesson also the moral value of it.

Our Opinion About Kebaya

"In many parts, the kebaya is seen as a strong nationalistic symbol and has been strongly supported as symbol of identity dor indonesia women by prominent ligures throughout the nation's history. Recently, the traditional dress has been recognize internationally as it used as a uniform for flight attendance (stewardesses) on Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, and Garuda Indonesia"

Opinion:
So as we know, kebaya is a sign of Indonesia women. we believe that kebaya is indeed a strong nationalistic symbol that is already been a tradition since a ling time ago. but nowadays, not onlyn indonesia has kebaya. other country also have similiar cloth like kebaya. we can see that in the flight attendance from singapore airlines and malaysia airlines also used a uniform that is similiar to kebaya, for example, Kate Middleton's wedding dress.

then we think taht kebaya is a sttrong antionalistic symbol, but as we know, kebaya is a little bit and old style cloth thst isn't attractive for teenagers. so we suggest, to save the Indonesian traditional cloth, we must try to modified Kebaya. so, teenagers will put interest to use it in their daily activities, not just at school and ceremonial events

why we think kebaya is an old style cloth? because usually kebaya used by old ladies. that's why the teenagers feel old when they used kebaya. so by modified kebaya with the new modern-style cloth, we believe that can change the opinion about "Kebaya is an old lady fashion"

Infomation to Eaborate the opinion:

we rarely see teeanagers around 10-18 years old use kebaya as a formal cloth nowadays. They usually use batik and casal cloth. They use kebaya if there is only at Kartini's day or in a wedding event. usually we see person who use person in television is people above 40 years old. so that's why some people think that kebaya is an old style fashion. but, with a little creativity, kebaya can be more modern and more attractive to use with modern style.
